The Rasmus 35 is often dubbed as the first production sailboat to come from Hallberg-Rassy, a brand name that has become one of the most respected and prestigious in the world of cruising yachts.
With a design from Sweden’s Olle Enderlein that was well ahead of its time in the late 1960s, the Rasmas 35 has enjoyed a large following with an incredible production run of 760 hulls spanning 12 years up to 1979.
With its full keel and a well-protected centre cockpit layout featuring a fixed windscreen, a trendsetting innovation in its day, the boat was designed for long distance cruising from the outset
Through the years the Rasmus 35 has proven herself with numerous and regular circumnavigations and continues to be a practical and economical choice for extended voyaging, able to swallow large amounts of gear and accommodating a decent crew count without being too cramped.
This example is hull number 674, one of the last boats produced in 1978. In 2015/2016 she had a major professional refit costing a huge amount of money, pretty much every on-board system was replaced and brought up to modern standards.

VESSEL’S HISTORY/BACKGROUND.
GRP hull, deck and superstructure, hull number 674 of 760 built by Hallberg Rassy in mid-1978 and supplied to the first owner in the UK in early 1979.
In 2015/2016 this example had a major professional refit with nearly all systems renewed, The main items renewed included:
• New Beta Marine B43 4 cylinder 43hp diesel engine (Now showing only 485 hours run)
• New Selden Main and Mizzen masts with all new standing rigging
• New Sanders sails including a fully battened mainsail with MDS Roller cars
• New Permateek synthetic teak decking on ring deck and cockpit
• New Sidepower 7hp Bow Thruster
• Hull peeled, overlaid with bi-axial layer of glass matt to reinforce and epoxied
• New upholstery throughout and new cockpit cushions
• New plumbing & tank system with holding tanks
• New Raymarine instrumentation fitted including new autopilot, touch screen plotter/radar system & AIS transponder
• New Eberspacher diesel heating system fitted
