Westerly Storm Cruiser 33 - 1990 - £28,750
Hullabaloo is a Westerly Storm Cruiser with twin keels and a masthead sloop rig comprising single spreader and detachable inner forestay to fit working jib or storm jib as required.
'Hullabaloo' was supplied by James Green (of this office) to her original - of just two owners from new.
With her twin keels, she has always been moored on either of two moorings on the River Yealm at Newton Ferrers; one (her winter mooring) being a drying mooring at the top of the Noss creek and the other being a deep water mooring in the 'pool' at Newton Ferrers.
She was epoxy coated from new and then in 2019 this coating was supplemented using 'Coppercoat's anti-fouling copper-based system, with the opportunity taken to epoxy prime the keels' surfaces too.
The mast and standing rigging has been regularly checked by a reputable local rigging firm, with all replacement recommendations carried out on a rotational basis.
Internal upholstery has all been replaced and some work done to the internal linings
(although it would be fair to say that the main saloon's linings could now do with
replacement) The teak and holly flooring was replaced around 7 years ago and is in good
As seen by the full inventory of equipment, the current owner is having to 'hang up the
sailing wellies' for health reasons, so 'Hullabaloo' is being sold with everything to be able to go cruising tomorrow.
A great opportunity to purchase a well found boat of North European specifications offering capability to go, explore and moor were others cannot follow.
